Capturing Tabletop Flowers
Tony SweetDescription
You can create wonderful flower images in your own home. In this video, pro shooter Tony Sweet shows you the process of tabletop photography, using window light, a few props, and his imagination. He places a sunflower in a vase and positions it in front of a colorful, out-of-focus background print. With a 200 mm macro lens on a tripod and a small reflector trained on the flower, he shoots several exposures, the light source coming through the window. As an alternative, he turns on the camera’s multiple exposure software and shoots ten separate exposures, rotating the lens for each one. This results in a wheel-like sunflower abstract.
